Caregivers in Philadelphia Walk to End Alzheimers

Personal Health Care participated in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s this past Sunday November 9^th at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia. This was our 3^rd year participating and supporting Alzheimer’s but, our first time joining the walk in Philadelphia. The Philadelphia Walk to End Alzheimer’s was one of the top walks in the country last year and after Sunday it promises to be in the top again.

We were able to raise $3,400 from online donations alone. Our final fundraising number once all cash and checks have been accounted for will be close to $4,000. We would love to exceed this amount as this is the most we have raised for Alzheimer’s in all 3 years we have participated. You are able to donate online until December 31^st at act.alz.org/goto/teamphc. Please help us exceed $4,000 before the end of the year.

Personal Health Care was a corporate sponsor of the walk which included its own donation that is not included in our team donation total. The sponsorship allowed us to have a tent at the walk where walkers could stop by and grab a reusable PHC bag and candy. The bags were a huge success and the candy was gone before the walk started! It was a great experience for all those involved. Alzheimer’s has affected many of us in the office personally and professionally which makes supporting this cause even more important to us. We are looking forward to next year!
