March of Dimes Walk With Philadelphia Caregivers

Personal Health Care participated in the March for Babies walk this past Saturday April 26th at The Lofts at Valley Forge in Valley Forge, PA. This was our 3rd year participating and our most successful walk to date, we have raised $9000 so far with donations still coming in!
Our success came from our many fundraising efforts. We held a “March for Babies Dinner” at The Office Bar and Grille in Malvern, PA where the restaurant donated a portion of food sales to The March of Dimes. We also had baskets for raffle and they were a huge hit raising $830! Our in office Yankee Candle fundraiser was a success and brought in $433 in profits. Personal Health Care as a company made a generous donation and was a corporate sponsor for all the Southeastern PA March of Dimes walks. We also got donations from our field employees who came into the office, with every donation they made their names were displayed in the office on March for Babies circle. On top of all these efforts each of our team members raised money individually.
We had great participation on Saturday! We had our own tent where we set we had PHC logo reusable bags filled with goodies which were a huge hit and everyone loved them! All office staff attended as well as family members and puppies! Two of our clients even came out to support the great cause. Our team ambassador Kathryn came to the walk with her twin sister, her sister’s friend, her baby brother, and her parents. Kathryn had a great time; she got a glitter star from Sweet and Sassy and even got to bounce on the moon bounce. Our client Nikki came with her mom and nurse Lorraine as well. Nikki had a blast dancing to the music and also receiving glitter hearts and stars. Everyone had a great time at the walk, we couldn’t have asked for better weather. Mother Nature once again came through for us!
Personal Health Care would like send out a huge thank you to everyone that was involved, whether you donated your time or money, it was all greatly appreciated and went to a fantastic cause. We could have not been this successful without your support. March of Dimes is a great organization with a great mission to help mommies and babies everywhere. The March of Dimes mission is “We help moms have full-term pregnancies and research the problems that threaten the health of babies.” Even though the walk is over for this year, please remember you can still donate anytime to the March of Dimes and help babies everywhere. Personal Health Care is looking forward to next year where we can once again participate in the wonderful cause.
