Announcing Personal Health Care’s Home Care Accreditation from The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval ®

Person Health Care is pleased to announce we have earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval ® for Home Care Accreditation by demonstrating continuous compliance with its performance standards. The standards are informed by scientific literature and expert consensus to help organizations like Personal Health Care measure, assess and improve performance. The Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval ® is a symbol of quality that reflects our organization’s commitment to providing safe and effective care in the health industry in the State of Pennsylvania

To qualify for this honor and great achievement, Personal Health Care underwent a rigorous onsite survey where officials from The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval ® for Home Care Accreditation evaluated our compliance with several home care standards. Some of the evaluated standards included our provision of care, our treatment and services, how we manage emergencies, our human resources, our individual rights and responsibilities, and our leadership.

The accreditation process also provided Personal Health Care with education and guidance to help our staff further improve our home care program’s performance.

Again, Personal Health Care is pleased to receive accreditation from The Joint Commission, as the premier health care quality improvement and accrediting body in the nation. Staff from across our organization will continue to work together to strengthen the continuum of care and to deliver and maintain optimal home care services for those in our community.
