" It is difficult to put into words what a blessing your organization was for us. When mom was sent home from the hospital, she was weak and needed a lot of care. My case manager was my contact and she seemed to understand immediately my dilemma. She assured me that she could find someone and would try asap. The case manager was able to arrange an aide and even sent my mom a birthday card.
Most of the time you would say end of story, but not this time. The healthcare aide who worked with mom was prompt, professional, and extremely caring. The aide was able to perform her tasks in such a way that mom soon looked forward to her coming. The aide found mom's interests, helped and encouraged her to keep her mind and body active. I am convinced Mom stayed active longer because of Louise's encouragement. When mom became bedridden, the aide was satisfied only when mom was comfortable. The aide made sure mom was clean, eating, and changed positions in bed regularly. She took time to encourage us to keep up the service on days she was not there. I have told everyone what a saving experience it was working with Personal Health Care."
